SEWAGE PLANNING AND SYSTEM DESIGN
Any development that has the potential to generate new or increased sewage flows must have sewage planning. This involves the preparation of documents that must be approved by the municipality as well as by the PA Department of Environmental Protection. You may also need to work with the municipality’s Sewage Enforcement Officer to have testing done on your property to ensure that it is suitable for an on-lot disposal system. If your project requires sewage planning I can prepare the necessary documents and work with the municipal representatives to obtain the approvals.
I can also help if your project involves construction of a new house or business or if you need to have a failing sewage disposal (“septic”) system replaced. I have training as a Sewage Enforcement Officer and have several years’ experience in designing sewage disposal systems. I have designed conventional sand mound systems as well as different types of “alternate” systems for sites with less than ideal soil conditions.
